Lunar Gate Vessel

How It's Done:
This vessel is assembled from clay slabs. After bisque firing the areas that we want to be blackened are masked off. Then the vessel is glazed with clear crackle glaze and raku fired. The circular disc is removable by sliding it up.

Available in green and white.

Lunar Temple Vessel

How It's Done:

Built from slabs of clay with impressed designs at the top. Glazed and raku fired.

How It's Done:

Medium Lunar Vessel with Applied Pattern

How It's Done:
This vessel is slab built. The textural pattern is created by cutting out small shapes of clay and attaching them to the vessel. The central piece opens by sliding it upward.

How It's Done:
This jar is thrown on the wheel. It has a round bottom that sets in a separate clay stand. It is glazed with crackle glaze and raku fired.

Available in while (shown), dark blue, light blue, purple, green and yellow gold.

About 8" high, including the clay stand.

Green Covered Jar

How It's Done:
This jar is made on a potters wheel then additional shapes are attached. The linear motif is drawn on the soft clay. After bisque firing the areas that we want to be blackened are masked off. Then the jar is glazed and raku fired.

Dome Jar with Bird

How It's Done:
This jar is made on a potters wheel then three feet are attached. The bird is hand sculpted and attached to the lid. After bisque firing the areas that we want to be blackened are masked off. Then the jar is glazed and raku fired.
